The global eRiders.net portal is a great source for technology support tools, resources, news, stories, and general eRider community networking. The shared resources and information here are of interest to anyone involved in civil society technology support and capacity-building.

TechSoup contains articles on different aspects of technology in an organization - from technology planning to computer networking. You can also find donated and discounted hardware and software and other useful tools and resources.

iTrainOnline is a website dedicated to computer training. You will find links to tutorials, articles and sites dealing with everything you need - whether it is basic skills or web development. iTrain also contains resources for trainers and resources for women.

You can find help there on information systems and getting the best out of your IT, welfare benefits (including training), and policy work in the UK advice sector. You will also find details on Advice and Information Management System software AIMS, our multilingual advice website - Multikulti, and several publications.

SangoNET (Local to Southern Africa)

The SANGONeT NGO Portal provides a gateway to the South African NGO sector. Its four main objectives are to develop the institutional capacity of the NGO sector through the provision of information that is intended to support stronger management practices; map NGOs and their activities; create a community space for civil society exchange; and promote the benefits of ICTs in support of the work of civil society.
