Ungana-Afrika worked with Women'sNet to
facilitate strategic
technology planning for two gender-focused NGO's, one of which was
Women'sNet themselves, and the other was Sister Namibia, a media and
advocacy organisation in Windhoek, Namibia. One objective of the
project was to provide these two organisations with a strategic
technology plan that can be used as a blueprint for future technology
implementation. The planning process was also useful in making the
participants aware of new technologies that could be useful for
achieving the organisation's objectives. Another objective of the
project was to show Women'sNet how to go through the strategic
technology planning process, so that they would be able to implement it
with other partner organisations in the future.
