Technology planning is the process of
strategically deciding
what technology should be implemented to best complement an
organisation's mission, strategy and activities. Ungana-Afrika makes
strategic technology planning the first step when providing technology
support to any organisation. It gives a true understanding of the
organisation's needs and encourages them to view technology in a more
holistic sense. The process that Ungana-Afrika employs has evolved
through experience. New components have been added and others
streamlined. This project synthesized those learnings and packaged them
for inclusion in Women'sNet and OSISA's publication Mainstreaming
ICTs: Africa lives the information society.
Materials are in active development. These
could be shared on a case by case basis until new materials are
released.
