Ungana-Afrika is planning launch a cross
cutting portal, useful to all local ICT service providers including
eRiders. The FLOSS (Free/Libre and Open Source Software) for ICT
service providers information portal aims at lowering the barrier to
set-up and provide low cost ICT support in economically challenged
regions. The project is currently at the first phase where a SITA
(State Information Technology Association) intern is housed at
Ungana-Afrika to develop templates of the portal on an open source CMS
platform called Joomla.
