The is no doubt that mobile technologies will play a major role in the future when utilised by  organisations and companies interested in positive change and sustainable development. The question is how to break the barriers to entry that prevent organisations from adapting and using the necessary mobile tools to support their operations and program implementation.

Ungana-Afrika's strategy is to act as a catalyst to create an enabling environment for the sector, and becoming an established mobile service provider. By replicating the most successful interventions together with our partners such as APC network, we believe that we can accelerate the adoption of mobile technologies around the world.

The aim is to ensure that organisations, companies, and governments are able to understand, plan for, utilise and sustain mobile technologies via direct awareness raising and capacity building projects in addition to collaborating with the existing community development and content sharing initiatives. As a longer term goal, Ungana-Afrika intends to ensure that affordable and high quality technologies and support are available, by influencing the local policy environment, negotiating with commercial service providers, and establishing development focused technology services based on various open source innovations.
